awesome how he was standing the whole game and no one told him to sit down!

AM I the only one that thinks perhaps he and Rick Hart have a deal should JG get fired from the Cowboys?? Seems like we are really building a relationship there.

Got to know Jason a bit a couple years ago - fantastic guy, and a brilliant mind. High school athletes would eat him up, he would kill on the recruiting trail. I told him once he wins a ring with the Cowboys he needs to coach at SMU. My pitch was:

1) Short commute
2) Good pay
3) Get to be owner and GM
4) Lower expectations and less media scrutiny

Him coaching here would be a dream come true. A young guy who would have a lot of connection to recruits, while being a big name. Also I think he could execute a solid gameplan if not under the microscope of jerry 24/7

If the Cowboys disappoint in 2014 (most likely) and he's out, I think you'd have to consider him here. I'm sure he and his family would love to stay in the Dallas area and make a nice chunk of change doing it with zero pressure compared to Cowboys job

the athletics department should start a Jason Garrett donation office if that's what it takes to get him. You might have just made me root against the cowboys next year

IF you're a Boys fan you should hope they go 2-14 and Jerry finally hires a GM

Ok, I'm in. 100% in.

Jason Garrett as HC, Troy as QB coach, Irvin as WR coach, Deion as DB coach and they ALL recruit their assess off! They all love Dallas and I'm sure want back into the game some time. SMU gig would be REAL cushy. Put together 3 in a row top 10 recruiting classes, win the AAC, get a P5 invite, win the NC at the Rose Bowl and retire. All within the next 5 years.

Hart, make it happen! (we might be looking at death penalty 2.0, but no guts no glory).
