First Yanick tweeted "smh" and then
"@Ymoreira35: Take me back to JC.. #Spc #4life
http://t.co/Cvgm04XNer"
He didn't play a single minute tonight and finally publicly showed some dissatisfaction with his role on the team via twitter. Hope this isn't a big issue moving forward.

Nope Yanick looked PO'd when he left the court. He shook hands fast with the fans that circle the court, and was headed in the tunnel a good 2-5 minutes before the rest of the team started that direction.

Have we gotten an answer from Larry on why he hasn't been playing other than - "What a shame"
???????????

I hate it too-but Ben Moore was essential to getting SMU started in first half and Caanen played well offensively in second half. I guarantee you that B.Moore made plays that were worth about 18 points in rebounds, saves, hustle and scoring. Note for instance B.Moore had 7 rebounds but a big 5 were offensive and I know several were eventually converted to points or foul shots on the same trip down the floor.

I was wondering the same thing. I thought he would be good matchup against UCI's Manute Bol lookalike to give MK a break. If he's not hurt I just don't get why he doesn't get any minutes in a game when another big would've been useful. Maybe not practicing well?

Why doesn't the SMU media track this situation?

Yanick is not getting minutes because the guys in front of him are playing too well. LB always gives minutes to guys playing well and mk and Cunningham have steped up. Yanick will have a great chance to earn more minutes next year. Also LB went with Cunningham tonight because he is taller than mk and is a better outside shooter then mk and yanick.

I don't think MK had a great game tonight and certainly think YM should have been brought in to give Cannen a break.

Certainly don't blame him. He should have played against their 7'6 Center. There is NO reason why he shouldn't. Larry B is wrong on this. He should have played 10 min. MK was lost tonight.

Brown needed some one who could hit the short jumper because although the Giant had arm length he had very poor mobility for his position. That's Caneen

Three center rotation! Keep them fresh and keep pounding them! I really don't get it.

That's fine but MK can't hit a 5 footer. He was not very good tonight. Yanick deserved a few minutes. Caneen played great.

Markus routinely passed up open midrange jumpers from the short corner and elbow and drove straight at Mamadou, often with little success (understatement of the century). Cannen got big minutes tonight because he can hit that midrange jumper and make free throws and his performance tknight really helped us get going on offense. With that being said I do wish he'd take care of the ball better, he had a couple careless turnovers. And that time he had a 4 on 1 breakaway and didn't pass the ball was pretty frustrating too. Besides that, good game at both ends

No. That would be a good reason to not put him back IN. He never even got out of his warmup suit. Again, and I hate to keep repeating myself but MK and Yanick do NOT play the same position. Yanick is a center and MK is a power forward. They should be on the floor together at the same time and Cannen is a great sub for Yanick. I'm ok with them splitting minutes but he needs to be in the game. B. Moore is MK's back up.
