This is from their Tiger Droppings site. Pretty well written, and the writer actually predicts SMU by 5.

Have you posted this in other threads? Sorry, I haven't seen many LSU posters over here yet.

I think LSU is gonna really have to contain dribble penetration to have any shot in this game. It's been a major issue for LSU all year. I think LSU has the personnel to win, but I'd be lying if I thought LSU's chances were more than 35%.

No. I didn't come pimping TD. I did a little preview in the LSU scouting report thread but I didn't link this.

Nice write-up! Only small thing: Moody's renovation reduced the seating capacity from around 9,000 to 7,000. They added luxury suites and the new chairs have a little bit more room. Otherwise it's a very good article

Statistically, we look like the exact same team although they have a rebounding edge (Yanick!) and they don't seem as deep? (their starters average many more minutes than ours). Looks like we need to pound it down low/penetrate (Nic Moore/Ryan Manuel/Markus Kennedy!), get their bigs in foul trouble, play really strong perimeter D (they have some guys who can light it up from 3 pt land) and of course rebound.

I predict a dog fight. If SMU comes out determined to win with high sustained energy we win. If we have lapses, we will lose. Again, as has always been the case, our crowd will be a huge factor.

Good writeup.

Except sitting in 214 and "SMU mixes up defenses" - not exactly accurate. Zone and matchup zone only. Would love to see 2-3 zone or 1-3-1. SMU is abysmal at 3 point defense.

I don think I've seen smu play zone all year, we play man to man and switch a lot on perimeter screens.

And pick them up at the airport.
