Wonder how much they are paying. That is a tough job. When will I start feeling stimulated??

Re: Buzz Leaving Marquette
Yep, he realizes that the new Big East is a sinking ship (albeit slowly).
Re: Buzz Leaving Marquette
I have joked about that but I think there is probably at least some truth in it. Shake It Off Moody
Re: Buzz Leaving MarquetteGuess he sees the writing on the wall with big east and fs1? Or the fact that middling teams in the ACC can easily make the tourney....ahem nc state.
Re: Buzz Leaving MarquetteWake up to see Buzz leaving (according to Marquette fans, he would only leave them for UK, Kansas or UNC) & Duke going down...Great Way to start a day!!!
Re: Buzz Leaving Marquette
Hey maybe they'll try to bring him back, I remember how great they said he was when they tried to pawn him off on us two years ago. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: Buzz Leaving MarquetteGreat hire for Tech.
Re: Buzz Leaving Marquettewe will see. i think we dodged a bullet actually.
Re: Buzz Leaving MarquetteDarn right he's sorry. According to the Washington Post, he's taking a pay cut, about $250,000 per year by my math (link below).
Lang Wiseman, a former Tenn basketball player who maintains strong ties to the program, tweeted this a.m. that the pay cut is $700,000 per year. Either way, that's taking a hit to go a program that operates in the shadow of UVA and flies to games out of the Roanoke airport. http://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/bu ... story.html
