@DanWetzel Buzz Williams will leave Marquette to become the next coach at Virginia Tech, Y!Sports source.
Wonder how much they are paying. That is a tough job.

Yep, he realizes that the new Big East is a sinking ship (albeit slowly).

Hey maybe they'll try to bring him back, I remember how great they said he was when they tried to pawn him off on us two years ago.

Darn right he's sorry. According to the Washington Post, he's taking a pay cut, about $250,000 per year by my math (link below).
Lang Wiseman, a former Tenn basketball player who maintains strong ties to the program, tweeted this a.m. that the pay cut is $700,000 per year. Either way, that's taking a hit to go a program that operates in the shadow of UVA and flies to games out of the Roanoke airport.
