Help! Ma and Pa Dukie, who are SMU alums and fball and bball season ticket holders, missed out on the mad scramble. Anyone have 2 to spare? Please PM if so, and thanks!

Should've bet on SMU and bought tickets when we announced we were doing the NIT. 3 home sellouts, alcohol revenue, extra homegames for our seniors, ESPN1 coverage, championship game in Madison Square Garden...I think we are good. We play #therightway

How does that make no sense?
I am starting to suspect that Stallion, blackoutpony and ECM are the same person. They never disagree with each other and they talk the same bs.

"Should've bet on SMU and bought tickets when we announced we were doing the NIT."

Because tickets to Second Round weren't on sale "when we announced we were doing the NIT", They sold out in about 30 hours after end of 1st game

Yes, I bought tickets for the 2nd round the same night we won vs UCI. We have FB and twitter that announced tickets were on sale. When you're a fan you need to do your due diligence!

mrydel, 89, Big 12: They went to SMU, not Duke. My dad has a 1947 Doak Walker postcard from when he was 8; they were at SMU for the Staubach/Navy game; and they've been going to games featuring people named Rote, Hixson, Levias, Ford, McIlhenny, Dickerson, James, Dupard, Atkins, Koncak and many more for decades. And as mentioned, they are season-ticket holders in both sports. But they are not 20 and did not get tickets in the first 24 hours. If any of you want to help with tickets for them--not me--great; if you have comments about Duke or random "LOL" comments, probably a better use of time to PM that to me as well rather than litter the board.

Wished I could help you for this game. But, my extra is spoken for. . . Tell you what. When SMU beats LSU, I might be able to do something with you as far as the Round 3 NIT game. . . The NIT is letting SMU give season ticket holders first refusal for season ticket holders in the 200 seating sections for the 3rd round.

Wow. Duke fans can't take a joke. If I had tickets I would give them to you. Sorry I do not.

Oh please. Yours was pretty innocuous; others weren't. No worries. Go Mustangs.
