Re: AAC now 3-1I was kind of disappointed at first with each teams margins of victory but as I looked at most of the other scores I quickly changed my mind. I don't think I've ever witnessed this many close games within my life (though I'm fairly young). Definitely very few blowouts.
Re: AAC now 3-1
This [deleted] the ACC
Re: AAC now 3-1As of now A-10 looking highly overrated to me. Does the AAC have the best recod?
Re: AAC now 3-1
The AAC at 3-1 that is very good compared to most of the other conferences. Oh, and you are right. the MIGHTY A-10 conference is now.......drum roll........ 2-4. Oh sorry, thanks for playing! ![]()
Re: AAC now 3-1Now you see what the committee said, that the A10 played those oh so tough OOC games that qualified them over SMU, right? Hope they remember their miscalculations next year.
Re: AAC now 3-1
I won't hold my breath. ![]()
Re: AAC now 3-1The two "major" conferences viewed as second tier to the others were the aac and sec. They are 7-1 combined so far
Re: AAC now 3-1
Yeah, the AAC took a bunch of flak but there's been a lot of SEC bashing, too. I'm not a big SEC fan, but they're acquitting themselves quite well so far...
Re: AAC now 3-1
You could argue the AAC is doing better considering the poor seedings the teams got (ie they're playing higher ranked teams than they really should be). The sec while they didn't get many teams they didn't get hosed as much seeding wise.
Re: AAC now 3-1Remind me why we're adding Tulane and East Carolina? Tulsa adds a little something, the others don't.
SMU-12 NCAA appearances, 1 Final Four
2014-15 & 2016-17 AAC Men's Basketball Champs
Re: AAC now 3-1And don't forget an AAC team could win the NIT.
Re: AAC now 3-1
Hopefully over an ACC team! Party at The Wopper!
