How close were we to landing him?

I believe close as I think it came down to us and LSU. Similar to Shepherd at TCU, there was a big question about his eligibility because of the issues at Prime Prep.

I think he had a brother or relative that is playing football for LSU and that helped bit.

Jordan's brother does play football at LSU. I think that was a big help for LSU to land him. Lately, Jordan's offensive game has sputtered a little bit lately but he has been the brightest part of our season. He is considering leaving for the draft which is scaring a lot of LSU fans, but I have a feeling we hold onto him for another year or two.
