Tennessse's resume didn't match up to ours IMO but they're as talented as anyone in the country. Obviously UK is supremely talented and Florida is #1. I'm not that surprised honestly

Florida and Kentucky should go deep, everybody expected that. And tennessee's only decent opponent has been umass, who was severely over seeded.

Kentucky was actually considered to be down this year. I think the SEC was vastly underrated, and LSU and Arkansas probably should have been taken a bit more seriously.

Florida and Kentucky are incredibly talented, and although Kentucky is much less consistent they closed out the season well.
Tennessee is a good team, but they have also received some pretty favorable match ups.
Tennessee is a slight surprise, but the other two not at all. I know I am very much looking forward to the Louisville-Kentucky match up on Friday; I think Louisville should probably take that one.

I had Tenn in the Elite 8 in my bracket. The advanced stats guy has them incredibly highly rated; they just happened to lost a bunch of close games. Stokes and Maymon are BEASTSSSSSSSSSSSSS on the boards.

Florida has been one of the most consistent teams in the NCAA this year. They deserved that #1 seed. The other two SEC teams have been the exact opposite of consistent.
Tennessee is a handful inside, but they are their best when they can make shots. They become nearly impossible to guard when they can shoot from outside. They play tough defense and don't make a ton of mistakes. Tenn played LSU very well and I wasn't surprised to see them in the sweet 16.
UK has been the same way that when they are shooting well, they are tough to beat. UK's big thing is their offensive rebounding. Even if you block them out, they somehow get 45% of the offensive boards which is just crazy. After those 3 the SEC does have a drop off. However, UK and Tenn got beat by far inferior opponents in the SEC all year.

Our loss to Arkansas and our win over the Aggies is looking better.

I have a lot of respect for how Tennessee has performed thus far in the tourney, but I don't consider an OT victory against a cratering Iowa team in the play in game as a tourney victory. Perhaps we should give every team who didn't play in the First Four a win to represent their earning a bye into the "Second Round"?

From what I saw of Kentucky they are going to slaughter the Cardinals Friday. Wichita State is a very good team. Probably one of the top 7 or 8 teams nationally. I just think Kentucky had some growing pains during the regular season but they are a very very talented basketball team that seems to be clicking on all cylinders now.
Hope I'm wrong. Certainly want our conference to do well.

Have to say LaTech and USM are looking like MSG teams in the NIT based on how good the SEC looks. If not for CUSA teams, the SEC would also be dominating the NIT.
