I'm cool with their politics... from a social standpoint I probably mostly agree with those tree sitting neo-hippies in Berkeley... that won't stop me from finding something to talk trash about for the next 2 days before we neuter the Osos.

Hippies are fun…

I am a DeadHead though, so I am a little biased.

Saw the Dead at Moody. Must have been 1977, I'd have to look back through my Rotundas.

Funny story: when I arrived from NY in 1973 I was a bit disoriented having only been to Dallas ( and Texas) twice before in my short life. But my first week there I noticed there was to be a Dead concert at Tarrant County Convention Center later that fall. So I bought tickets with a few other new friends. But the show ended up being cancelled because they didn't sell enough tickets. Coming from the east this totally blew my mind. It took me a longtime to get over that...roughly four years...because friends on the Program Council actually brought the Dead to Moody. Great show....sold out. I guess Jerry's ghost watches over Moody.

Berkeley has some of the grossest humans on the planet. That place is flat out weird.
