Non-conference Schedule

While I am enjoying the NIT games at Moody, I can't help but to think about next year. It kills me to see no media coverage for our school while everyone talks about the Sweet 16.

Can someone post a summary of the non-conference games we already have scheduled for next year?

I'm worried with L'ville leaving the conference that we may be disrespected again next year

I don't think too many teams in the country have their entire non conference schedules ready now. It will probably be ready by the end of summer.

I hope we are not relying on those three teams to be our "top-tier" non-conference teams.

2 of those teams didn't make the tournament and the other just barely got in.

Are there any rumors on what tournament we might be in?

We need to not only beef up our schedule from last year but also replace 2 games against a top team in the AAC!

Way early for that as well.

We need Rick Hart to contact ESPN and demand an AAC/Big East early season tournament. That along with whom we have already scheduled will give us a good non conference schedule.............

Would probably venture to guess that UI-Chicago will be at Moody for the back end of a home-and-home.

What about a AAC?Big East challenge like the other bib conferences do? Fox Sports would have to agree to it though.

We do not need the top teams in a conference. We need the middle to low teams in a strong conference.

Dallashoops22, our problem with the non-conference this year was not in our top end teams that we played (we played enough in the Top 50 to be fine), but the bottom end. Most schools schedule plenty of "easy" wins -- it's just that they schedule in the 100-150 RPI range instead of the 250-300 RPI range for the bottom end of their schedule. So the teams that we beat badly were horrendous, as opposed to just bad. And some of the usually decent "name" teams that should have been in the respectable middle RPI range had terrible years, not something that we had any control over.

Would like to see a home-and home with 1 of 3 Big East teams. (1) Georgetown{Moody/Verizon}, (2) Seton Hall{Moody/Prudential}, St Johns{Moody/MSG}. Larry Brown won't schedule Villanova/Jay Wright. . . Family to Larry

Will also depend on how many AAC Conference games the league plays with 11 teams next year. If it's round robin, that would mean 20 league games.

Does Wyoming or A&M owe us a Moody game?
