Lets make it a sweet, really loud one. No reason to hold back Wednesday night. What a ride this has been. Waaaaay above my most optimistic expectations regarding the total fan experience.

Let's be loud, proud and show class during our last home game.
After sitting in Moody for 30+ years and now to experience this ....... Incredible.
The most incredible thing is that the image of the apathetic SMU student fan has been thoroughly debunked. Never mind, the notion that the SMU fan base would ever show enthusiasm for an SMU team. I'm really at a loss for words.

our fans are just fine when they have a relevant team to cheer for. Teams that are not relevant playing against opponents that are not relevant do not draw flies.
not sure how to fix that in our current conference for football but that is not a question for this board.

Football could start with beating our old SWC OOC opponents rather than getting their add kicked. It would at least help.

Having a coach that acted like he wanted to be here would probably help.........

Exactly, you start gaining fan momentum when you start beating multiple teams that you are not supposed to beat. In basketball, it started with UCONN, then Memphis, then Cincy, and UCONN at UCONN. Football will gain momentum if we beat aTm and TCU. If that happens, I bet we drop a loss against UNT.

Have a work trip I could not reschedule so this is the first game all season I will miss a part of. Tell your loved ones to stay off the highways around dfw because I will be hauling [deleted] after my plane lands at 8:20

I feel your pain. I'll be landing in Philadelphia around 10pm tonight. Will try and resist the temptation of checking the score on my phone when I land and watch the game fresh on the recording from the hotel room. Go Stangs!

Can't make the game. Glad to see the last home game in MBB can inspire us to bash Jones once again.

Can't recall any HC at SMU (FB/BB, or other) who has received the amount of vitriol that JJ has. Hmm, must be the fans.....NOT!!!

Agreed. Let's enjoy this positive model, i.e. SMU MBB. There is time to revisit FB later.
