Very odd that SMU does not get a seat allotment for the NIT.

Here is the email. There is a limited allotment. I don't thonk anyone will have a hard time finding a ticket. I don't think very many NIT final 4's are sold out.

Start spreading the news! SMU Basketball is Big Apple-bound.

With tonight’s victory over Cal, SMU has advanced to the NIT Semifinals in New York’s Madison Square Garden. We will play Clemson on Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m. EST. SMU’s ticket allotment is extremely limited and will be utilized for team and players’ guests;

Damn I wish I could go. Tuesday/Thursday is terrible when it comes to trying to minimize time away from the office though. Oh well. Gonna have to find a good watch party and start mentally pre-planning the four-day weekends (yes, that's plural for a reason) I'll be enjoying next March...

Actually, this weekend I will be spending some considerable time with a few NC State fans. I think I might ask when their next game is... and then I might "forget" the answer and ask again. And then maybe one more time.

We get 150 tix. Those won't make it very far past family and friends of players/coaches/staff.

ask them when they play BYU in the tournament. And then forget the answer and ask them again. And then ask them when they hire the Wake AD as their new AD?

and then you can "forget your keys", come back in, order a drink on their tab, ask them again, and then really leave.

It would have been nice to have figured out a way to get Markus' mom up to the game from Philly if she weren't deployed.

It would be cool to get other family members there like Shannon Brown etc. Not many chances to see your kid/brother/nephew "under the lights."

Zman, any chance any of the Moore family/friends are going to make it? I know that it's not exactly a short trip from Indiana. But it would be appropriate since we owe this trip in part to Nic.
