Now that the home season is over, can we please retire forever the god awful heavy metal transition that ruins the "Coming Home" intro video? The place goes completely dead when this happens.

I'm sure there will be a completely new intro video next season

That's hardly heavy metal to me. I love it personally.

i agree. it's not like they're mixing in slayer or gwar. it's a freaking guitar riff. it should stay.

and we most likely won't have it next year anyway. we're already home, not coming home.

Agreed. Keep "Coming Home" but ditch the metal. Same goes for the video that starts with "Black Skinhead" - I've always thought the transitions from song to song in that video were a little awkward or harsh.

Coming Home is great but the guitar part needs to go. There are many other great options

Players have said they love it. Only have heard blue hairs complain about turning down that racket.

I am sure if they change it. It will be cool, but people will still come on here complaining that it should be Dan Fogelberg or whatever they listened to back in the day.

That's the best part...

Any perceived "deadening" of the crowd is because everybody is watching to see the new highlights.

It was nice to hear they had the volume back up on all of the music last night. I think they turned it down a notch for the first two games while taking the "neutral" NCAA rules a bit too literally.

Awful transition but this Moody Season is over. You shouldn't see it again

I'm definitely going to miss the Coming Home video next year. It gave chills and hyped everyone up, but I'm excited for whatever they do next
