Just an fyi, it's Clemson tradition to go on the field/court after every home win.

I've got a friend who graduated from SMU (and did very well, ended up at Jackson Walker) but spent his first year of undergrad at Belmont before transferring away...majored in music and said it was the hardest year of school he ever had. music classes, training, studio all day, every day.

Belmont has been to the NCAA Tournament 6 times in the last 10 years. More times than Vandy.

Their campus is beautiful and the Country Music money of Nashville flows into that school (some significant very rich alums).

If you have never heard of Belmont, you have not watched the NCAA tournament closely over the last decade.

We beat a Cal team that we were suppose to beat as the number 1 seed and we stormed the court.

I'd known of Belmont and their past tourney success but still had no idea where it was until I looked it up before their loss to Clemson. Sounds like a place I'd like to visit.

And it was a [deleted] blast. Any ill-will I had towards court stormings has essentially disappeared, so long as opposing players/coaches are protected.

That was not a court storm. That was a few fans trickling out of the end zone, and then a few more that came out of the center court area. Just a court drizzle. No storm.

So y'all alumni didnt like when we stormed the court? (Or 'drizzled' as someone said)
I get that we were expected to win and that all that, but none of us have experienced anything like this before. I guess we couldn't contain ourselves. Would be interested in hearing y'all's thoughts

I have no issues with it. I would have been right in the middle of it back in the day.

I could care less if we actually "stormed" it. But that was a sprinkle. 5 minutes after the buzzer it seemed people went out there to take pictures,etc...the real storming was cincy

I thought it was kind of fun myself. Especially since the win sent us to New York.
