Question- do the players have to pay for their own meals at Bobby Van's (not cheap) or can the school pay for that while they're on an away trip?

I am pretty sure it is the school just like the meal in Memphis at Rendezvous.

get over it quick. Bright lights are distracting. These guys have work to do. Hope they have fun - but hope they don't lose site of the goal here. The committee said you were dog meat. What are you going to do about it?

They will be just fine. Just site seeing on the first day. I think we as fans are making too big a deal out of it. No different than the football team going to Hawaii with players who had never been to Hawaii. Its not like they each have cars and can go out by themselves for the night geez. Win, lose or draw they will be ready imo.

I think it's personal preference. Personally, I'd celebrate after we win it all. Until then, I don't care at all about the bright lights/time square, any of that. Time to take care of bizness. Then, we party.

Others may just want to get it out of the system, ok, I've seen everything. It was nice. Now, on to bizness.

Either way, I think LB knows what he's doing. All I want them to do is get good sleep and play with high intensity/energy/focus. Do that and we can smoke any of these teams - they don't have the front court depth we have. Cannen is a huge x factor for us IMHO.

that photo above is in Times Square, the "Cross roads of the world" (It's called that for a reason). it would be unrealistic to expect these kids, some who have never been to NYC, to sit in a hotel and do what? hang out. Walking around NYC will pump them up more than hanging out. I am absolutely confident LB is using his NYC upbringing to instill the necessary level of preparation, for perhaps the biggest game most of them will ever play, in their careers.

to pony fans coming to NYC, the weather for Tuesday, game day, is suppose to be 60 and sunny. perfect weather after a long cold hard winter.

Not much of a day for sight-seeing today though....sleeting as we speak. But the forecast DOES look good for the rest of the week.

What kind of study hours do they have on a trip like this since they could potentially (hopefully) miss practically the whole week of classes.
