Back at hotel from MSG

Awesome experience! SMU fans in section 105 were loud, on their feet, screaming the words to pony battle cry - really incredible experience to be in MSG and see so much red and blue. The pre game party was packed!!! I had no clue we would have the turn out that we did.
I think the Clemson fans were stunned by our comeback and the fight we showed on the court. Just like UC Irvine, we knew they'd go cold after starting so hot..but everyone was holding their breath.
Clemson fans were nice and just happy to be there like many of us.
Sorry I won't be in NYC for the final. But grinning ear to ear as I walk down Broadway.
Incidentally, I won't miss the beer and braut that cost me $21.

Nah. Incredible happen stance that I'm even here. Scheduled this months ago for work.
Incredible story though... My freshman roommate sat down right next to me at the game. I haven't seen him in 20 years. We were both blown away that our tickets were right next to each other.

Speaking of coincidence, I had a good feeling when our driver from Hartford to NYC this morning turned out to be the father of an MFA grad student at SMU, and started raving about Larry Brown. I knew LB had brought a ton of name recognition and credibility but it's on another level in the New York region.
