What nice ballplayers those guys are, how in the heck did Illinois and DePaul let these guys out of state, heck I'm wondering what my Boilers were thinking not offering these two! SMU's future is off the charts good, Russell and Williams are nice players and I'm sure add great leadership but I feel the guys the ponies have on deck will be more than capable of filling their roles, also, I noticed Moreira logged a few minutes, man did he get rejected, however, I think he'll be a nice piece to the puzzle as well next year!

DePaul's coach was ticked off that SMU got Ben Moore. He almost implied that we were cheating in an intereview.

One of my co-workers is an Indiana grad. He is still mad that the Hoosiers refused to offer Nic Moore.

As for Nic Moore, Purdue half assed recruited him and he committed to Illinois state, he wanted to go to Purdue but Purdue felt he was undersized. Purdue got involved a little again when he left Ill St. but with Ronnie Johnson on board Moore wisely went to SMU, Johnson despite playing 30 minutes per game this year left Purdue and is looking at Memphis and Cincy, hope he flops!

Nic's former head coach was at SMU so he was probably coming here anyway.

Well DePaul probably didn't get Brown & Moore because Oliver Purnell is their coach and they're DePaul.

I agree, with Ill State coach leaving he was destined to be a Mustang, should have never came to that, he was pretty much a Purdue lock if they recruited him hard, he went to Ill State because Purdue had a hard time figuring out if they should offer or not. I really like SMU so I'm glad he ended there, fun team to watch! As for DePaul, how does Oliver Purnell still have a job?

the telecast mentioned last night that Shannon Brown (sterlings's older brother) was coached by #godfather and told his little brother that if he wanted to learn how to play the game he should go to smu.
So sterling signed with smu

The biggest cheerleader on the bench and most excited player was Moreira. Every TV shot showed him jumping up and down and cheering like crazy. Despite some questionable Tweets and periods of feeling down, this kid appears to really be a team player and we all hope that next year he will be healthy, improved and meet both his expectations and the expectations of SMU fans. It would really be nice to see what SMU could do with 2 true centers ( plusTurner ) with MK and Cannen playing PF.

He was taking pictures for teammates after the game. Seems like he is over his frustration. Looked like he was having fun.
