SMU reserves: Underrated Inspiration

With one game still to be played Thursday night against Minnesota in the NIT finale, SMU already has enjoyed a remarkable season. While collecting 27 victories and winning four games against teams ranked among the nation's top 25, accolades have poured in for players like Nic Moore. But Moore said Mustangs have gotten an irreplaceable boost from some of their lesser-known teammates, whose work ethic and voices in the locker room and on the practice court have had a major impact on the team's postseason run.

This is a great read. I really like that the players are treated equally no matter how many minutes they play or how many points they score.

Good stuff. This is a real TEAM, in every sense of the word. It's all about making yourself AND your teammates the best you can be.

Great article.

I loved how Markus mentioned Dunleavy during the press conference last night as well. This really is a team.

What a fun year and hopefully there are many more.
