Drove by Moody today and saw a big bus that said UConn Men's basketball team. Plus there were a bunch of cop cars. Nice to see SMU helping out other AAC teams.

Let's not take this conference mate love too far. Practicing in our arena, good. Our students going out to cheer for them? Not.

Of the 4 uninspiring teams in the Final Four, I certainly will be rooting for them. But they're UConn. I'm not going to go out and buy gear or anything.

A few kind words in a strange environment go a long way. And besides, who else would be able to say we beat the national champs twice? I really want to them win it but I don't like their chances.

Nice of us to let them practice here.

Well, since we don't need it right now I guess it’s OK. UConn best be thankful we are in NYC playing for the championship right now.

I do think for those students that want/feel, a mini pep rally for UConn (not a sponsored thing,) would be a good will jester for SMU. It doesn’t hurt to treat our conference partners with a bit of respect.

Now if some ACC (say Wake Forest) team was using our facility I would also be in favor of the students holding egging contest whenever the team came and went!

M, if you view this solely from an SMU perspective, showing UConn serious love makes total sense. I'm glad they're at Moody and I hope any SMU fans at Jerryworld root for them hard.

They keep surprising me. I didn't even have them making the sweet 16 in my bracket. They are not the same team that we beat at their place. I think Ollie has done a great job with them and they seem to have peaked at the right time. I think Florida will win but hopefully they will surprise me again.

THIS. Florida was not even close to the team that they are today the first time around. They were missing half their rotation lol. I still am shocked they're in the Final Four, UConn has truly earned it. But I just don't see anyone knocking off that Florida team unfortunately.
