Decent article on Page 2 of the DMN today. I am proud of the DMN for sending the SMU beat writer up to NYC to cover the final four. Should be a nice write up tomorrow.

Having the final four in DFW is hurting SMU coverage a bit since one of the biggest sporting events of the year is in town this week. If the finals were in another state, with no Texas teams involved, SMU woulda got much more love.

My advice is to read NOTHING coming from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, especially from that 90-year-old arrogant old fool Sid Hartman. And he really is that old. The St. Paul Pioneer Press is a little more even handed.

That said, the Minnesota media is one of the most brazen, jaded and confrontational group of people in the industry. As soon as I saw the headline: Knight says SMU will be a tough test for the Gophers (or whatever it was) with Hartman's name on it, I thought, 'Forget this!'

Now, you all can do what you want. Just consider this a tip.

No SMU love in their prediction poll. 67-33 predict a Minn Win. Do we need to do a Ponyfans special on it?
