Good because their counterpart started the day with a playing for 69th bash and went into a segment on Wisconsin and the final four. I like the Ticket, but they love taking shots at us....

They had Andy Katz on
103.3 guys: which is better, getting the finals of the NIT or making the tourney with a quick exit?
AK: it depends on the situation. If you're a small school or a mid major making the tourney is always better, no doubt. But with SMU it maybe better with the NIT - LB and NYC. They are a young team and will benefit from the experience. SMU will be favored to win the AAC next season.
103.3 guys: how long will LB stay at SMU?
AK: initially, I thought 2 years but after talking to him on several occasions, I think he's happy. He related it to his dad, 81, who has been a college professor for 45 years and not wanting to retire. He doesn't see LB leaving anytime soon.

Sounds like a good segment for SMU. Nice spin to find the silver lining in the NIT. Nice to think we have HC stability.

I heard the 69 joke on BAD radio, but that was completely harmless. They've been giving SMU good coverage throughout the month of March
