The Moody draft camp news had Sasser listed as a possible 1st or early second round pick after the play in Chicago. Good to see he had a good camp and was able to get some points and rebounds and improve his position.
One of the quotes from the article, "Jeryl Sasser who had the benefit of playing on the same team with Omar Cook, showed good athleticism and size at 6-7. Alright ball handler but his shot and selection aren't great. His mechanics need a lot of work. He reminds of Magic without a jumpshot. He needs to learn to play more within himself and let the game come to him and he can become a player."
Its also interesting to see people like Alton Ford and Charlie Bell listed so low.

Before anyone freaks out, I am in no way comparing Sasser to Magic .... but Magic came out of Michigan State with the reputation of being unable to shoot either. He developed a solid, above-average jumper once he got to the league, but he was thought to be a terrible outside shooter when he went into the draft.
