I had emailed Larry Brown the night of the Selection Sunday Snub. I told him how sorry I was that SMU was miss dealt a hand, and told him that we will be at all the NIT games rooting them on. I told him I have dreamed since I was 8 years old of a rocking Moody Coliseum where all of the fans our SMU's, and now he has made that happen.

Hell yeah man, he's one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Doesn't surprise me at all. Good on you for the note, and good on him for taking the time to respond.

Brown is a class act all the way. A true gentleman. Not one of those "strictly PR guys" who can be a jerk one on one.

Ron Meyer and Hayden Fry were like that. They ALWAYS responded to a phone call or letter. Extremely nice in person also.
