November 2014 will be the next one. The tournament determined who the champion is.

They did indeed. I can at least understand that based on their season. Kentucky was a lower seed than UConn, squeaked through a whole slew of tournament games, and lost to UConn. No rational way to rate UK #1 over UConn.
