We are ahead of the following NCAA tourney teams:

St. Louis

UMAss
Baylor
Stanford
G. Washington
Maryland
Dayton
Arizona State
Memphis
BYU
Kansas State
Texas
St. Josephs
Colorado
NC State
North Dakota State
SF Austin
Tulsa
Mercer
W. Michigan
American University
Coastal Carolina

The Basketball Power Index (BPI) is a team rating system that accounts for the final score, pace of play, site, strength of opponent and absence of key players in every Division I men's game. BPI can be used to measure both how well a team has performed (going far beyond just wins and losses) and how powerful it is likely to be going forward.

that would be a great list to use when setting up our OOC season schedule. we need 50-150 rated teams we are pretty certain to beat.

I'd take an NIT finals game over a first round loss to Kentucky 7 days a week (this season). Next season it's NCAA or bust.

Next year we will have more experience AND hopefully the realization that you can't screw around against the teams at the bottom as there are real consequences...

Horns would never play us. We would throttle them next year and would crush them in recruiting as a result

I think we'd win but whether or not they get Myles Turner, they're going to be pretty salty next year...not really losing anyone off a pretty decent team.

I don't think we would throttle them. I think they might play us in a triple header matchup at the AAC like last year. If not UT, maybe Baylor.

it's a nice list, but you have to keep in mind that a good portion of those teams were automatic bid teams that won their conference. A more meaningful list IMO would be a list of those that received at-large bids.
