I get the Hartford site. UConn deserves the love. The Orlando site not so much. I know Orlando is a great family vacation spot but there are several cities that would be much better. My list:
1. Dallas (AAC)
2. Philly
3. Memphis
4. Houston (Rockets arena)
5. Orlando

Hopefully they are circling around to Texas (Memphis, UCONN, Orlando) -watching to see if SMU can really get it together and earn consideration for 2018. I can see why many in AAC would be somewhat concerned that SMU was a 1/2 year attendance wonder. Orlando for Spring break would be nice I think.

orlando > houston, memphis, hartford, etc.

memphis does guarantee some attendance. that is a good thing.

Don't get why people don't like orlando - good visit, golf, weather, restaurants etc...

The same reason not everyone likes North Dallas.

Can we put New Orleans on the list? Might as well have SOME benefit to having Tulane in he conference.

Just my opinion but I'd like it to be in a city that really embraces basketball - Memphis, Philly or NYC/Brooklyn (I know we don't have a school there but NYC is a bball Mecca). Also, a city that will have a bball buzz with great nightlife/restaurants.

New Orleans goes to the top of the list just because it's New Orleans. I can't think of a better place to get away for a three or four day event than NO, other than Vegas. Plus, the only logical reason for adding Tulane to the conference is to get NO as a championship site.

If we have to go cold weather Philly would be great.

I would never live in no Dallas but Orlando is fine for tourney. Philly and N.O. Would be great also. Just say no to Memphis, Houston and especially Hartford. Dallas would be great actually. AAC at the AAC.
