And the tree continues to grow. I'll miss seeing his kid behind the basket. I'm sooo jealous of his hair.

If our assistants are getting HC jobs (or better AC jobs), it is great for the program in the long run. While we will miss the talented people leaving, it means that our program is going to be able to attract great people looking to move up. In the long run, it is good news for us and great news for Snow.
Btw - doesn't FIU have a head coach?

I must have missed Anthony Evans getting fired. Sure you didn't hear incorrectly?

I definitely heard correctly as I just re-watched it again. Announcers must have mistakenly said that? Kind've an odd thing to mess up if it wasn't true though.

I heard it too. Haven't seen anything on the subject anywhere else though.

Anthony Evans just finished his first season. I can't believe this is accurate.

not Florida Atlantic either (sometimes confused) they just hired former NBA player Michael Currey-I wonder if he will be an assistant at FAU. They both have extensive experience with the Philadelphia 76s but not at same time. I bet that's it because there was a pretty substantial rumor on one SMU board that it was a Florida school

@BMickles10: Multiple sources close to the #SMU program say Eric Snow is taking an assistant coaching job at either FAU or FIU.

Lateral move to a lesser school? (maybe he just likes Florida).

Not a lateral move because he is not an assistant coach but a player development coach. It's a move up.

Rebel is right. He was not an assistant here. I'm happy for Eric. SMU is a place where assistants move on to better things, not the HC
