Why are so many kids leaving Indiana? Saw today that another Indiana player, Jeremy Hollowell, is transferring out to Georgia State. Now Indiana Assistant Coach Kenny Johnson is taking the same coaching position at Louisville.

I thought that Tom Crean was one of the best coaches in College Basketball? What has happened to Indiana Basketball? Don't think that I remember one school losing so many players (and now coaches) in one season. Am I missing something?

Nothing wrong with graduating. But since last year's team did not make the post season he might be making room for new recruits.

I know there is nothing wrong with graduating, just decided to list the graduating seniors. Losing 9 players in one year is a lot. I cannot think of any school in recent history lose so many players and now a coach.

so there's really only three that are leaving? and two others are injured?

Looks like the back of Tom Crean's britches are burning.

His incoming class looks good. Better than ours as a whole at the moment.

Terrible coach / person. Proof? Crean had an eerily similar transfer issue at Marquette. Surely, that's not merely a coincidence. The guy also flopped in the NCAA tourney with two lottery picks on his team.

I'm admittedly biased, though, since I attend Michigan.

I have heard the same thing. A lot of Indiana fans will not be sad to see him go. Don't think he is much of an X and O coach.

Yup, he's a jerk, not sure anyone in the B10 is hated more than him as a coach. Seems like all the coaches got respect for one another except him, he's definitely the odd-man out between Beilein, Izzo, Thad, and Bo.

They know they have to play us and they are getting out before getting embarrassed.

I get the feeling that some of the other coaches have started to notice how whiney Izzo is / how annoying it is that he's always on the court, but he's still a helluva lot more respectable than Crean.

So your recent memory doesn't recall the Rice team we played last year?

Comparing Indiana Basketball losing 9 players to Rice Basketball really isn't much of a fair comparison. Don't know that any of the players on the Rice Basketball Team could be the 12th or 13th man off the bench at Indiana.

Rice just had someone transfer to Duke this week but I am sure you are right he would not be able to get a scholarship at Indiana.

I think BDE was referring to the total amount of players that transferred. You made the statement that you could not recall a school that had so many in one year. BDE was simply pointing out that Rice is a school that had a lot of transfers happen to them as well.
