Per the Memphis Tiger beat writer:

"Lamar State 7-footer Anthony Allen, one of the University of Memphis basketball team's few remaining targets in the Class of 2014, committed to Oklahoma State Thursday afternoon.

Allen, the leading shot-blocker in junior college with 191 blocks, visited the U of M officially two weeks ago. He averaged 11 points and eight rebounds a game last season."

Don't know if this was the last of their scholarships, or if one can infer they are giving up on M T.

Hadn't heard them mentioned as seriously being in the hunt for Myles for awhile. I still think it's a done deal he's going to Texas, but we'll see.

It's hard to care about basketball JUCOs - they rarely have an impact. Being the top JUCO shot blocker doesn't mean a whole lot.
