That will never happen. High level college athletics does more to help the school's "core educational mission" than focusing solely on academics. Academics cost money, athletics bring money. Do the math.
lol, what? Yeah, Ken Pye didn't run our University for a number of years, or anything like that. Everyone just holds hands and sings about how wonderful athletics are which is why we're still in the SWC. Wait, we're not? How can this be?! Has someone told the Board of Trustees?!
