I don't know the whole story, but supposedly Kane verbally committed to Minnesota. There isn't really any concrete evidence as to why, but apparently we will have to look elsewhere for our newest presence on the block. We can only hope he changes his mind, like Hop almost did. Remember, nothing is final until he signs on the dotted line in November.

I believe it was his guardian who said that SMU put an impressive show on for Kane but his Minnesota visit convinced him. Something about how he liked the way their athletes were tried in Minn.....He said it was a hard decision between us and Minn.
