Lakers courting Roy Williams?

As a Duke fan, I would hate for this to happen because the ACC does not need to get weaker. As an SMU fan, I would also hate to see the UNC job open up. LB would be a longshot, but not out of the conversation.

Droopy dog is an awful in game coach. Dad Gummit.

On the hilarity scale this would be on par with Roy Hibbert scoring more points than me in a game.

Roy Williams in LA? Don't see the fit, just would be very strange. It is definitely thinking outside the box.

Hell, I would think Lakers would rather have a proven NBA winner in LB before considering an old never done it in the NBA RW. and LB was one of few who had success coaching Clippers.

After having life with Isaiah Thomas as a GM, Michael Jordan as an Owner, and Allen Iverson as a player, I suspect LB would want no part of the Kobie drama show in LA. But he would prefer to coach than manage, so, for the right price, stranger things have happened. Randy Whitman is a free agent coach at the end of the season and might be attractive to the Lakers if the Wizards keep playing the way they are playing.

Wouldn't be shocked to see Mark Jackson end up in LA after Golden State decided to part ways today for whatever reason....
