Xavier transfer Justin Martin visited Florida St yesterday, source told @CBSSports. SMU + West Virginia also in mix. Immediately eligible.
Wanted to see what people thought about this possibility. Would use the extra scholly spot while maintaining room for next year's class too.

Gah. I hadn't refreshed my page since opening. I didn't see it was posted elsewhere, and I can't delete.

It's only a matter of time before you start getting slammed for posting this a second time. But hopefully this will become the official "Justin Martin Transfer" page and people will use this to comment instead of the other post about this exact same subject.

We have good defenders on the team so I just hope he would bring an outside shooting threat if we get him.

Xavier transfer Justin Martin will visit SMU next weekend + West Virginia on June 6th + 7th, source told @CBSSports. Visited FSU Wednesday.
I presume Rothstein means May 30-June 1.

C'Mon SMU, let's give Justin no reason to make that West V'Ginny visit!

Saw him a couple of times at X games. He would be a huge pickup for us.

What would our depth chart look like if we got him?

Lake Tahoe.
I really think our depth chart is a detriment in this case. A guy like this could start on most teams but where do you find sufficient minutes for him here? Eman and Nic are locked in as starters. There will be a good competition for the spot Sterling occupied last season at the three but I think Brown favors a defensive minded glue guy there….like Sterling. Four and five are plenty deep as well.
If Martin comes this way I see minutes at two and minutes at three. The question is will that be enough to satisfy a guy who is having his last hurrah?

I agree...I presently don't see the minutes for everyone.
PG: Mudiay 30, Moore 10
SG: Moore 20, Frazier 20
SF: Brown 20, Manuel 20
PF: Tolbert 15, Moore 20, Kennedy 5
C: Cunningham 20, Kennedy 20
And I can't find any minutes for Moreira.

Not sure I see Manuel playing 20 minutes/game this year...of our last ten games of the season he only played 20 once and that was against L'ville when Nic got in terrible foul trouble. Mudiay will eat into his minutes this year.
I'd probably put him around 10/MPG, Tolbert will get some minutes at the 3 when we go big, and Yanick gets some minutes in there at the 5.
Just my opinion, I'm not LB though
