Did everyone remember to pay their donation today? I still think its too big of a jump so soon from a year removed from awful. I've heard bigger jumps year after...

Oh well, it will be fun next yr.

This will be the last season I will be able to afford. Will only be able to go to single games after due to cost.

I hear ya. . . Paying for the double increase this year. But, I was "grandfathered" in as far as not having to pay for the MC donation. If I am hit for the MC donation next year, and the price of the seats go up again. I might have to give them up. Or, give up one of my seats, and attend solo by keeping the other seat. . . Guess I'll "cross that bridge" when the time comes.

I actually thought prices were very reasonable. However, it cost me much more because I did not have prior history. I still think it is reasonable for the hottest ticket in town and a top 10 team.

Of course I am in but per seat donations are pretty crazy for newbies. The everyday Joe fan won't be able to go.

you have to realize that we don't want new fans. Only old [deleted] fans like most of us on here.

i think new fans are not an issue either.

i would be furious if our athletic department was asleep and not getting full value for what is an absolutely great product. We have had two or three people step up and do this basically for all of us - its time to stop riding on their coattails and help support this program. We should be grateful its not more - as it arguably should be - instead of bellyaching.

Keep smokin the good stuff...why don't you cut the athletic department a check for 10 mil to cover the discrepancy? Don't think anyone here will bellyache about that.

What part of my post do you disagree with - or do you just want a free ride?

SMU BB tickets are a bargain in comparison to just about ANY Top 25 program. In fact, try to find a less expensive Top 25 program. I've looked at a bunch of comparisons and they are cheap for comparable tickets. The only caveat is that we don't have a 12,000-20,000 seat arena and therefore can't sell the cheap seats in the rafters. We are already well behind the curve with a 7,000 seat arena

I'll attend a few next next season but not every one. Sorry, I love my ponies but realistically a few years out of school my money has better places to go.
