Hard to pass up 27/1 when it's your team!

Only seven teams have better odds. Insane

Only five teams have better odds.

Maybe you're looking at something different but there are seven ahead of SMU in the one I posted - Kentucky (4/1), Duke (9/1), Arizona (12/1), Kansas (14/1), Florida (14/1), Wisconsin ((14/1), UNC (18/1) - SMU (27/1)

You know, there's a part of me that wants to say "I love the love, but we need to earn it on the court". I won't say that. Because of LB. Not worried at all that he won't have these guys primed and locked and loaded when they need to be. What a difference a great coach makes eh? Man, where was LB 10 years ago?!? Here's to his health and our hope to have him for 2-3 more years and to SMU not screwing up the blue print he leaves behind.

You're right. Sorry.

The toughest thing to figure out is how Vegas has Kentucky as the favorite to win it all when they are hamstrung by such a bad coach? If only they had a guy who could coach.

I just got back from Vegas, where most sports books had us around 25/1 or 20/1 after opening around 35/1 last month. Fortunately I waited to place my bet and found us at 40/1 still at the Wynn!

That's a serious value pick. I was there last week and totally forgot to place the bet. At 40/1 it's almost worth flying back out and putting a few hundy down. That'd pay for a nice return trip in April.

Boy, I don't know. If by chance SMU is still in the mix come next April, I am not so sure I would rather be in Vegas or at the actual Final Four. Was in Vegas for the first round this past year and it certainly is a great time. Really tough call. Have to ponder it a bit. Probably would be hard to get tickets, hotel and such for the final four. Maybe Vegas is the second best thing? I would be willing to have to make the decision though if SMU shocks the world! :D

If SMU makes the Final Four, everyone on this board better be in Indy.
