UConn very aggressive on the recruiting trail from this posting. Coach has new contract and wants to repeat as national champion as evidenced by his aggressive recruiting.

Looks like Temple may be getting Brunson. Would be a nice pickup for the AAC.

Keep hearing Dad is going on staff too. Brunson may be the best guard out of Chicago since Rose?

The top end of the AAC is still pretty solid, no?

I would say yes absolutely. UConn, Cincy, and Memphis will be good for years to come IMHO and Temple will be back to true form. I would think that Tulsa and the Florida schools will come along a little bit as well.

In Basketball Tulsa is already good with their star sophomore class projecting they'll be good at very least by the next 2 years

Agreed. I think with Self leaving to the NBA before too long Manning had to prove he can check all the boxes, and I'm not sure he could have done so at Tulsa.

Yep, I see Tulsa sort of on that "upper tier" with us as well . . . I think UConn is going to be very good as long as Ollie is there . . . Cincy will always be scrappy and 'top tier' and, Memphis (despite their coaching), will be 'top tier' (mainly because of recruiting). Then there's Temple which, I predict, will be 'top tier'. Then us, then Tulsa.

to Ojai:
you underestimate SMU - if the 2015 class finishes the way it has started, SMU has established itself thru 2017. At that point, its a matter of SMU being able to continue w/ a dominant coach. Right hire post-Brown, SMU is a perennial.

UCONN just picked up Jalen Adams - rated 33 by the guys with mustard stains on their beer belly's.
Ollie thinks that Adams is quite bit better than that - I'd say he might have been his top priority for 2015.
The UCONN fanbase wanted Adams more than just about any recruit in the last decade or so and is pretty thrilled.
Adams is out of central casting for UCONN - a combination of Ray Allen, Ben Gordon, Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier.
I expect great things.
