I've seen some Instagram shots, any of your kids in it? Going well?

My son is there this week - he's enjoying it. Said LB made two appearances yesterday and almost all the players were there (Nic Moore was the only notable exception). Shawn Williams is one of the coaches, and my son said he was the most vocal and encouraging of the staff

Both my boys and nephew are there this week and couldn't stop gushing about how cool it was. It's a big boost to have the players there interacting with the kids. One of my boys sent me a pic of himself with Nic today.

Two young neighbor kids who attended the camp haven't taken off their SMU gear since.

I used to go to Georgia Tech basketball camp growing up, and I still remember being able to meet, talk and play with the current players (including Starbury). It's such a cool experience for the kids.
Here's to a new wave of SMU fans.

My son is there. He's just a little guy (going into 1st grade), so its not so much about the fine points of the game for him

But he's having tons of fun and really enjoys it. For me, the highlight of his first day was when he shook hands with Larry Brown. For my son, the highlight was the $20 that we deposited in his camp account. . .which allowed him to purchase a snickers bar and a Gatorade all by himself. That made an impression!

Haha. The 2nd grader in my neighborhood, when I asked him about meeting Coach Brown, said, yeah, he's nice. But I really like my coach Sterling Brown.

Frazier autographed my son's shirt today. So did Yanick and Ben Moore. All three were really nice to him.

I should add that Jean-Michael Mudiay was my son's coach. He was wonderful. . .couldnt have asked for a better coach for the little guys.

That second grader I was talking about came home with a nice Larry Brown signature on the back of his blue shirt today.
