“@OmarMaz34: Class of 2015 three-star SF Deng Adel's final five schools are #SMU, Louisville, LSU, UConn and Florida, per @FlEliteBball. He's 6-7, 185lbsâ€

Even though Scout is the much better site for content and reporting, at least right now, I've always like rivals rating system better and tend to think they're better at it.
I'll say rivals is right on this one. I mean look at the kids offers. Really really impressive.

I agree. I trust the Rivals national rankings more than Scout but for whatever reason the Rivals coverage of SMU now is terrible. Scout's coverage blows them away.

I cancelled my Rivals subscription about four months ago. I took a look at the message board the other day and noticed a title referring to how the SMU site was dead. I assume just about everyone has cancelled?

We're at the point now where we get listed first in that group? Used to be not ago where it'd say: "...three-star SF Deng Adel's final five schools are Louisville, LSU, UConn, Florida, and SMU"

I'm sure the fact that Omar's target audience is SMU fans might have something to do with that

The services are cyclical. Armen ran rivals the right way and flourished from a content & coverage perspective. Most of the scout guys trained under Armen, see both EJ and Billy, and they were/are students that have the time and energy to churn content w/o getting paid. It'll flop back and forth according to who is publisher, and how much free work they can do themselves or get from their friends. Love what the Scout guys have done, but none of it is sustainable w/this tiny fan base. All your ever going to get is kids trying to pad their resume, which is fine, until the real world calls. Then you're at the mercy of the next kid, whoever that may be
