He'll obviously still make it there next year because people already know how talented he is, but I'll be very curious to see if this hurts, helps or doesn't affect his draft stock.
Wish the best for him and I'm still pumped for SMU basketball next season, but sure wish his path went thru SMU & LB instead of China...

It can't help. He will not receive the coaching he would've here and he will not be visible at all over there. Every game SMU plays will be on the ESPN family of networks. Again, this wasn't really about the money. Regardless, he's a good kid and we should all wish him well.
