Mudiay signs deal with Under Armour

Emmanuel Mudiay has officially signed an endorsement deal with Under Armour. The Under Armour Hoops twitter account (@UAbasketball) sent out this tweet earlier today:
Welcome to the @UnderArmour family Emmanuel Mudiay. The journey is only beginning. #IWILL
Emmanuel is pictured in the tweet wearing an under armour t-shirt with Chinese characters on it.
As many speculated, he has signed an endorsement deal which is where the real money is coming from, not the paltry 1.2 million from his Chinese basketball contract. Now whether or not UA was in his ear telling him to screw SMU and go pro in China so they could ink him to an endorsement deal early while simultaneously putting a major star in the biggest basketball market in the world wearing their shoes before heading to the NBA is all heresay, but I wont be buying UA shoes in defiance.

UA definitely needs China and was being blocked by Nike. A nice bullet in their gun

At our expense. Why could they not go for one of Calipari's employees?

because none of them wanted to take a pay cut to go play for $1 million in china.

Wonder if Antonio Blakenly would follow Mudiay. Given a 5-star decommited from Louisville(an Adidas-feautured school) under "alleged" pressure from Nike who sponsored his AAU. Sounds similar
