I don't like the "basketball school" reference if they mean for it to be mutually exclusive. We can have top 25 football and basketball programs in this school, at the same time.

Otherwise, great article. Love the praise

"basketball school" was a quote from Emelogu and not from the writer. I got the impression it referred to a basketball school vs. not one, as oppose to any football reference.

SMU IS a basketball school. There will be more people at each one of our home basketball games this year than with be at any of our conference home football games.

Might as well embrace it. It's basketball or bust.

We will score more points in the first two minutes in basketball than the entire season of football. Hopefully football catches up in near future w new coach.

Only reason is because of the mess june left. If we had a team like TCU's team this year, would we still be called a basketball school?

I'll be at every home game and possibly make a few roadtrips if schedule permits. Basketball is a good waiting sport while we get football to where we want it to be.

We would be called a Big XII school, but we're not. We are a basketball school, deal with it. BTW, if you went to a game at Moody last year you would know why.
