Because I'd rather be thinking about SMU bball than pretty much anything else right now, I thought I'd start this thread. Here's my prediction:
26-8
vs Lamar (W) at Gonzaga (L) at Indiana (W) vs. Eastern Washington (W) vs. Arkansas (W) vs. Texas Southern (W) vs. Monmouth (W) vs. Wyoming (W) vs. UC Santa Barbara (W) vs. UIC (W) at Michigan (W) vs. Midwestern State (W) vs. USF (W) at Cincinnati (L ) vs. Memphis (W) at UCF (W) at Temple (L) vs. East Carolina (W) at Tulane (W) vs. Houston (W) at USF (W) vs. UCF (W) vs. Cincinnati (W) at Tulsa (W) at Houston (L) vs. Connecticut (W) vs. Temple (W) at Memphis (L) at Connecticut (L) vs. Tulsa (W)
American Athletic Conference Championship 03/12/15 First Round (W) 03/13/15 Quarterfinals (L)
NCAA Tourney First Round (W) Second Round (L)
Now the question becomes do we beat both Indy AND Michigan ON THE ROAD and take care of business with the "lesser" AAC teams (I'd be a little nervous about UIC, UCSB, and Arky but not at Moody).

Is this with or without MK? And more importantly, are you assuming JMM will be healthy for all these games?

24-6 regular season. Losses @Zaga, @Mich, @Cincy, @Tulsa @Memphis, @UCONN.
Final 4 loss in AAC tourney.
Moody remains protected.
Sweet 16 loss.

The only conferences losses we might have are at UConn and Memphis. We will beat U Cinci and Temple this year on the road.

Looks about right to me. I think we'll lose 9 (I put my predictions out to the right, if they differ). I also say 9 as they'll always be that WTF loss or two you just can't predict.
Pony up!

agree with this, plus there is always the possibility of laying an egg or two on the road in a random aac game.

We have to be tougher on the road this year…no doubt. We can't have silly losses to the bottom of the conference. Good teams like Temple and Tulsa have to be dispatched as well. That's the mark of a team ready for a run in the Nats.
