With MK, I'd give us a puncher's chance. Without him, it's doubtful. This is a legit natty contender and their offensive strength is our defensive weakness (3 pt shooting). I doubt we win, wish we had them at Moody. I'll be rooting for a great showing nonetheless though.

You won't see very many top 25 teams starting three seniors and two juniors - that's serious experience.

Gonzaga was a tougher ticket than IU. Anyone else taking the week of the 17th off? Flying to seattle, the to spokane, then back to Seattle, to Chicago, to indy. Gotta make up for those missed football road trips

That's a great idea. I've never been to eastern Washington state but Seattle is one of my favorite cities. I'm sure it will be a cool road trip.

For the mere pittance of room and board ( along with travel expenses) I will gladly handle your luggage.

Such a selfless, noble offer. I couldn't put you through that much turmoil however. We're talking 7 flights altogether. Shooting for 7/7

7 flights! That's like the time to take 14 flights in RGV life.

LA, I lived in the Pacific Northwest for 5 years. Please be advised that Seattle and Eastern Washington state have absolutely nothing in common. They might as well be on 2 separate planets. Totally agree with you re. Seattle, but Spokane is the boonies. Totally great if you want to go and support the Mustangs there. But that should be your only expectation. See StallionsModelT's post from several years back about his trip to Pullman, WA to catch the Bo Levi meltdown game.

Good to know. I was just assuming. The last time I was in Seattle we drove up north to Anacortes and took the ferry over to Friday Harbor. It's such a beautiful part of the country. I can see the appeal of living up there. Also, I wish we would've had more time because I wanted to go to Vancouver. I hear it is one of the coolest cities in North America. That's on my bucket list.

Interesting Story about freshman Gonzaga player Domas Sabonis, and his father former NBA and Soviet player:

Have been to vancouver a lot. Not overly impressed with the city. Two things not to miss- go to Whistler- even if you don't ski it's fun watching the snow bunnies, also take the ferry over to the island and go to Bouchard gardens. Quite an amazing place.
