No shock there. Zags still at #13. Kentucky looks average and loses only three 1st place votes.

I'm not sure how you can completely dominate an opponent winning by 39 and drop a spot, but we did in the Coaches poll.

Michigan did impress by beating Hillsdale by 24 to jump us. I know this is meaningless but it is kinda funny.

You know my disdain for scUM. But I said last week in a post that I was impressed how well their freshmen have looked. Nobody knows where to rank them because they lost so much and didn't know how well these freshmen would be integrated. After watching them twice now, they're going to be a tough team by B10 play which I absolutely did not think they would be a month ago. That could be a lot of the reason. Rankings in CBB are meaningless though especially in regard to the Big Dance.

BTW Gonzaga moved up to No. 11 in that Coaches poll
