“@EditorEdge: How bad was it for Kansas last night? KU had as many shots blocked as shots made (11). And had more missed FGs (45) than points (40). Yikes.”

We may have a situation where they run the table. They basically have a pro team

It was a "must win" game for Kansas. Now they are in the same boat as SMU - season over. I'm new to this concept of "must win" games in the first week of a season so I'm not sure if we still play the remaining games on our schedule? If not, maybe LB and Bill Self can schedule a few secret scrimmages to keep the guys in game shape. Anyway, this season sure flew by!

UK is hardly unbeatable. They struggled heavily the first time I watched them against Buffalo who ran a simple 2-3. If Buffalo had anyone over 6'7, they'd have been fine.

That said, UK is the best team in the country without question.

Kentucky may have the only team where 4-5 guys can have an off night and they will still beat you handily. I think that their biggest problem might be boredom.

I sure wish LB would play zone sometimes. Kills me.

Tough week for me as a bball fan. Coming into the season I only conceded three losses for the entire season: SMU would lose at Zaga, Kensucky would beat KU, and either KU or SMU would lose when they play one another in the NC game! Two out of three out of the way!!!

@OBF agree. Kensucky isn't unbeatable, but they are the best (top to bottom). His whole "platoon" thing drips with Used Car Cal arrogance. It will break when he's staring a key loss in the face.

In Orlando to cheer on our Ponies Saturday! Hope to meet some new Pony fans.
