I don't want to sound like a Carolina loser, but these refs were absolutely awful. How in the hell did Indiana shoot 36% from the floor and from 3 and still win? How about 15 more shots from the line!!!!

We got beat by a really good Zags team, Indiana is a joke!

We are a joke!!! Right now the last thing we need to be talkin about is refs.

Refs gave some home cooking, but it wasn't so bad that we should not have overcome it. Unfortunately, the Manual dunk was awesome, but after breaking it down a dozen times, it probably was the right call. I did like the aggressiveness though!

Agreed. Keep throwing the ball away and not hustling back and you lose. Maybe this team wants to be underdogs...but they just look unorganized and soft.

The refs were horrible... they were actively trying to rig the game... thing is, we played so damned badly that they really didn't need to.

Don't think it was the right call. Manuel was driving the lane. Doesn't matter if the defender is standing still or not, they cannot slide into the path of the offensive player. They must have an established position.

At least that's how I see it.

It looked to me like the guy moved under Ryan when he had started his jump. But it was close. If that was at SMU, it would have been a dunk and a shot for us for blocking. Home court means something. I think that caused about a 2 minute funk which allowed IU to go on a run (hit what three 3's in a row). Once we calmed down, we made a run back, but at that point, the horse was running down the road and wasn't going to be caught.

A couple of the calls were a big moments in the game. That said, if we don't turn the ball over like a 5 grade team we cruise in this one. Larry's got some coaching/teaching to do.

Refs did seem to do a poor job last night, but I agree with those who say that's not why we lost. 20 TO's and you'll lose most of the time. Not defending guys who are shooting wide open 3's will do that, too. As well as fouling the 3-point shooters when you do guard them.

The refs were bad to both sides. They were some bad calls both ways. Just an awful all around officiating game. However, we definitely were on the receiving end of more bad calls than they were/

Regarding the Manual dunk, it was not a charge because Manual went a little sideways and really just bumped the guy's shoulder (did NOT run over him). Bad call. But we lose anyway.

Generally, the refereeing clearly favored Indy (definitely some home cooking) but I'm not sure if we had won if it was even (maybe).

Bottom line: we just flat out lost and no one to blame than us. We are the better team. I hope this just makes us better down the road. It seems the tourney committee cares most about: (1) SOS and (2) "bad" losses. It seems we've kind of fixed #1 and haven't experienced a #2 yet, unless Indy just tanks (hopefully they don't! and I don't think they will). We HAVE to beat Arky and not lose to any weaker teams. Only way to get into Tourney. All is not lost. But we are over-rated and need MK (eff SMU admin, I completely blame that on them I don't care who else disagrees).
