Serious question. So clueless now

We may need to win the AAC and beat Michigan, Wyoming and Arkansas. And probably need to beat UConn twice again.

Well, at least we won't have a SOS in the 300s this year. If we can get it together ASAP and get Markus back for AAC play I think we'll be fine, but damn....

Getting Markus back, beating Michigan, Wyoming, and Arkansas will help going into conference play. Eastern Washington is undefeated so we need to beat them and hope they have a good year to help RPI which is possible the way Eastern Washington is playing.

Fat chance we beat Michigan in Ann Arbor the way we're playing now. Arkansas at home will be tough too.

depends on how bad IU really is. I think they are pretty weak, but if they do ok in the Big 10, this loss could end up being neutral (at best). The committee used to look at things like missing and injured players, not sure they do anymore because they said they stopped overweighting the last 10 games. Even so, if we get markus back and start clicking, the sky is still the limit. I sort of think Larry likes slow starts and wants this team to peak later, much later. Its a long season. Things looks tough but i still like our chances to be a great team in february.

I doubt this given the "win the AAC AND" comment

These games were put in place to replace the two games against LOU.

If we beat ARK (vs. loss to ARK last year) and we don't lose to teams like Temple and USF, we are in better position that we were last year. Of course that means splitting with Memphis and sweeping UCONN.

To me - this puts A LOT on the Michigan game. Will Markus be back by then?

We need the Wyomings and Eastern Washingtons to WIN...

Is EW really that big of a threat? How is Wyoming this year?

Both EWU and Wyoming are undefeated so far but neither team has been tested. Wyoming should be the better of the two by a good margin.

EW plays @ Indiana just after they play us...not sure who to root for...

Just win. IU is not that good. Freshman shot lights out from 3 and we turned the ball over a ton. Stop making excuses and play better. When we weren't turning the ball over we were crushing IU. Defending the 3 better would be helpful as well.
