You don't think the team looked good against EWU? You don't want to keep it rolling? Oh wait, I forget, you are mad and upset that the team did not win by 20.

no, i do not think the team looked good against EWU. We were fortunate to come out with a win. The game was just like the Indiana game except that EWU missed shots.
And keep what rolling... our 2-2 record?

I have to agree with Rebel10 on this one. Besides we would have been close to a 20 pt win had #1 not hit those long contested threes at the end.

And how many open 3's did they miss both in the first and second half? a boat load. bottom line is we need to work on our perimeter defense and if we don't we could lose on any given night to a decent 3 point shooting team

I think we can all agree on that - in multiple threads. #10 shot lights out and made 3-4 in a row. They missed some uncontested wide open 3's in the 2nd half and we got lucky.
As someone mentioned, I don't understand LB's philosophy on D b/c you know they are coming at you from 3 and we have a decent bench for rotations. Of course some screens and kick outs will happen. a few guys were camping out on the exterior all night.

While I never feared the result was in doubt, it was a five point game very late. We can do much better than that!

We looked "better" but not "good."
We had numerous chances to put them away and make it a glorified practice but we couldn't do it.
Teams like that should not be within two buckets of us at crunch time.
While there were some positves ( a "W" for one thing) we still have a ways to go.

I know our expectations have been raised. And I know EWU is not at our talent level but I can't help recalling a home game against South Carolina - Upstate where we were beaten in Moody.
I was there and it was not pretty. I remember looking at the rprogram to make sure we weren't playing The South Carolina Gamecocks. I couldn't believe we were that bad.
It was so depressing. Less than 1000 people in the stands, high school level concessions and game day presentations.
My gosh the last few years of Matt Dougherty were awful. Gives me hope for FB.
I'm still pinching myself. Sorry but I lived through 20 years of futility.
