Questions

1. Between the countless turnovers, the lack of any discernible offensive set plays (assuming passing the ball around the perimeter is not a set play), and the deer-in-the-headlights look each and every time they face a full court press, I'm left wondering what exactly this team is working on in practice.

2. Did Nic and Sterling put on the freshman 15, or did something else cause them to lose all the quickness that made them so effective last year?

3. Why does this team play with so little intensity? I feel like I've spent the first two weeks of the season watching Nic Moore walking the ball up court with as much urgency as my teenage son has when I ask him to take out the trash.

The lack of urgency and the lackadaisical passing around the perimeter was baffling late in the game..there's no fluidity on the offense and it seems like it's a combination of guys not able to put the ball on the floor and beat a man off the dribble, inability to make short range jumpers and MK not available to play inside out with the guards..

I'm realizing how much we miss Nick Russell though as well

.....snd Shawne....and Markus. Add in the fact that Sterling hasn't started and what you are left with is ONLY ONE STARTER FROM LAST YEAR'S STARTING FIVE....NIC.

Things will improve when MK returns, Sterling starts at the three, Keith continues to grow into his role and Yanick gets some hands. I think it will all come together in time for conference play.
Last year we needed a tougher OOC schedule.
This is the year we could have benefited from a little softer one.

we need to get better from 3 point range. 2 threes all game isn't gonna get it done. Nobody outside of Nic or Keith can seem to hit a 3.
